• Welcome to my Photography Blog!

Hi, I'm Leslie. I'm a natural light photographer and shoot on location in Belleville, Quinte, Prince Edward County and surrounding areas.

I photograph moms, dads, babies, bellies, children, families, pets, events... and everything in between. I love seeing people as they are and I am passionate about capturing beauty and the special moments that make life grand!

Take some time and look around. This blog is my spot to show you a bit about me and a bunch about the kind of photographer I am. Check back often as I share photo sneak peeks for clients and a glimpse into my own life once in a while too.

Every once in a while I get to photograph this little star and it is always fun! She is the daughter of one of my favourite people in the world and she is all-original. She wears the best clothes and has a personality that keeps me on my toes and makes me chuckle. She has a big personality and her gorgeous red hair suits her perfectly. Mommy pointed out her adorable dark freckle on her chin, a spot they affectionately call “Lola”. I love that!

Here is a little sneak peek of Lil’ Miss Personality Plus.

G Family . Belleville, Quinte Area Photography

This family is special to me. Our little girls share a bond, we travelled together to meet our girls on the other side of the world: in Vietnam. Its been three years since we became Meg’s parents and since O & S became parents for the first time, and time has brought us closer. Although we don’t get to see each other often (they live a couple hours away), when we get together we just pick up where we left off. They are an amazing family. We keep our girls seeing each other because they share something very special and my hope is they’ll grow up keeping this friendship strong. My little one is always so excited to see ‘her twins’. She is fascinated that she is seeing double whenever we get to see them.

We met up at Presqu’ile Provincial Park for a quick family session this past weekend. The rain stayed away and it was even (sorta) warmish. I poked fun at their city-folk ways and even the insects (praying mantis, black pesky bugs buzzing around them and a sneaky mosquito that took a bite out of Steph as soon as we got started) didn’t scare them away.

Here is just a quick look at a few of the photos I’ve edited.

Our beautiful girls together:

I met this beautiful family in Stirling for a family session that Mom confesses was long overdue. It happens all the time, you get busy with life and the next thing you know you haven’t had family photos done since your youngest was in diapers! Time flies and now the kids are growing up fast with two in high school and the ‘baby’ now 10 years old!  The kids are gorgeous – freckles and terrific smiles! Enjoy your sneak peek, Kevin and Michelle!

I’ve known this family for a long time. Our kids go to school together and I’ve watched them grow up. What a gorgeous family they are! I took some family photos last week and we had a beautiful evening for it. Enjoy your sneak peek Christina! More to come soon.

Ashley . Belleville, Quinte Area Photographer

Ashley’s mom booked a special session with me to capture her daughter as she graduated from Grade 8 and got all dressed up for the celebrations. Ashley looked beautiful in a dress that perfectly matched her most amazing eyes and we couldn’t of asked for more beautiful weather that afternoon.

The session ended on a rather ‘eventful’ note – we were taking her photos on the south side of Belleville, on a dead end street that crossed railway tracks to get there. We ended up trapped on the other side of the tracks because of an auto/train accident and were told it would be hours before we would be able to drive out of there. Ashley’s dad came to the rescue and we climbed over the stopped train cars in order to get us out of there and more importantly – to get Ashley to her graduation ceremony in time! Whew. It was a close one and Ashley handled it like a champ, what a great kid!

Thanks for the adventure, Sharon and Ashley.
